FAQ

Mouth guards are vital for recreational, amateur, and professional athletes of any age. The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends wearing a properly-fitted mouthguard for all sports and activities and the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) mandates properly-fitted mouth guards for many sports. It is estimated that 39% of dental injuries are sports-related. Any athlete who participates in a combat sport or a sport with the potential for contact with others is recommended to wear a mouthguard.

The Rampage Athletic Mouthguard is designed to protect athletes with 2x the impact absorption of traditional mouth guards and provides maximum comfort for breathing, speaking, and drinking. Rampage is made of a patented hydrophobic material that helps to prevent germs.
Rampage is backed with a product satisfaction guarantee and a $10,000 dental warranty.

Yes. Rampage Athletic Mouth Guards offer a custom fit over braces – and they can be adjusted and refitted as your teeth move.

Rampage Athletic Mouthguards by Rodeo Dental can be heated in the microwave for quick and easy fitting - no boiling required! However, they can be formed using boiling water. Fitting instructions are included in each package and are available here.

First, make sure you judge the fit 24 hours after it has been formed since the material will shrink. If it isn’t moldedsnug the next day, repeat the fitting process and focus on pushing the fitting material in the teeth when it’s warm and moldable. NOTE: do not push the material into the teeth if the person has braces. The products all work with braces, but have a separate fitting process.

No problem! Our mouthguards are made with a patented material, which can be reheated and remolded multiple times. However, if the material touches itself when hot, it can be nearly impossible to separate. Make sure to roll up a wet paper towel and place it in the channel between mouth guard walls before placing in the microwave because that will help prevent the walls from collapsing during the heating process.

Yes, the Rampage Mouthguard is latex, BPA, PVC and phthalate-free.

Although Rampage Mouthguards are tough enough to withstand lots of wear and tear, we recommend replacing your Rampage Mouthguard every year for best results.

We recommend using CustMbite’s All-Natural Oral Appliance cleaner. Otherwise, surface bacteria can be cleansed with soap and (cold) water. The mouth guard can also be put in the dishwasher. Be sure to store the mouthguard in its ventilated case when not in use.
